Installation
To ensure you can securely mount your speaker on your walls without much hassle, we've developed a simple mounting kit that we ship with our fully assembled speakers. To ensure everything fits perfectly, it's important to understand our installation system—but don't worry, it's really easy!
Two rails. One system.
The mounting system consists of two high-quality steel mounting rails: Rail 1 and 2. They guarantee a secure and precise installation and allow for flexible expansion of your plant wall. Thanks to the patented plug-in system, it enables precise assembly and significantly simplifies the installation process.
Rail 1
The classic rail is used when you want to hang a single module. You also need this rail for modules that shouldn't be hanging underneath others .
Rail 2
The special rail is precisely connected to the lower end pieces of other rails using a plug-in system. You use it for all modules that are to be hung directly below other modules.
- Important: When purchasing your box, select the single box installation type for rail 1. For rail 2, select the junction box installation type.
Planting
Whether you choose BOX.3 or BOX.6, planting is quick and easy. Especially when you use our plant sets, as they are optimally matched to THE BOX modules. Of course, we deliver your plants in the right pot size – small enough to be easily planted and large enough to look great from day one!
Planting guide
To create a particularly attractive plant wall, we recommend planting according to a plan. We divide plants into three types, depending on their growth form and function within the plant wall.
Type A
Description:
Climbing and trailing plants, with rampant growth, hanging.
Examples:
Philodendron, ivy, zebra herb, phlebodium.
Type B
Description:
Clump-forming, spreading, distinctive growth or leaf forms.
Examples:
Ferns, spider plants.
Type C
Description:
Eye-catcher, special features (color, leaves, etc.).
Examples:
Fittonia, Monstera 'Monkey Leaf'.
