  • Payment

    Various secure and convenient payment options are available, including credit card, PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay, and Google Pay . All payments are encrypted to ensure your data is optimally protected.

  • Shipment

    We ship your order quickly and reliably with our shipping partner DPD. Within Germany, your package will usually arrive within 3-4 business days . Shipping costs depend on the order value and destination. Once your package is on its way, you will receive a tracking number that you can use to check its status at any time. We ship to other EU countries with corresponding delivery times and prices.

  • Return policy

    If you wish to return your order, you normally have 14 days to do so easily. Please contact us as soon as possible. You can find all the details regarding your right of withdrawal and returns in our Terms and Conditions and Cancellation Policy.

How do the different versions of THE BOX differ?

THE BOX is available in three versions: BOX.3, BOX.6, and the Signature BOX. While the BOX.3 and BOX.6 differ fundamentally in their functionality, the Signature BOX is a premium version of the BOX.6.

BOX.3 features three planting holes with removable drawers and uses mineral granules as a substrate. It's particularly easy to maintain, versatile, and a stylish design element. Available in six trendy colors, it's made from recycled polypropylene (PP).

BOX.6 accommodates six plants and uses an inlaid substrate cushion filled with organic compost. It's perfect for dense planting and creating a lush plant wall. Available only in matte black, the BOX.6 is made of acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylate copolymers (ASA), making it suitable for outdoor use.

The Signature BOX is an exclusive version of the BOX.6. It is made from 100% Ocean-Bound Plastic and uses sphagnum moss from sustainable paludiculture as its substrate. Thanks to its high absorbency, mold resistance, and lightness, this moss is considered one of the best substrates for wall greening.

Where can you install THE BOX?

Almost anywhere! Thanks to its simple installation system, THE BOX can be attached to almost any wall – provided it can support its weight. If you're unsure, you can also simply place THE BOX on a shelf and add more greenery to your room without drilling.

Before installing your module, please check the load-bearing capacity of your wall and find out about the route of electricity, gas and water pipes.

How can multiple boxes be combined?

THE BOX is based on a modular system and offers unique flexibility. Whether as a single module as an eye-catcher or as a large-scale plant wall – thanks to our patented rail system, there are no limits to the design.

Each module includes a drilling template for effortless installation of the rails. The intelligent click system allows for precise and easy attachment of additional rails.

The special feature: The irrigation systems of the modules can be connected vertically using an overflow ring (always included), so that a single watering opening supplies an entire row.

Please note that the mounting kit with installation rails is only included with the BOX.6 and the Signature BOX. For combining multiple BOX.3 modules, you can find the matching mounting kit in our accessories section of the shop.

Are the plants included in THE BOX?

THE BOX can be purchased individually or as a starter kit including plants. When you purchase the boxes and plants together, you'll also receive a small discount on the plants and a free bottle of neem oil. The larger grow kit includes four modules and four plant sets of your choice, so you can get started right away.

Which plants are suitable for THE BOX?

Actually, almost all of them! We developed THE BOX together with gardeners and designed it so that almost all plants feel at home in it. Only large plants with woody stems or very sprawling growth are less suitable, as they run the risk of toppling out of the planting holes. Also, make sure the plants are the right size – we recommend a 12-inch pot size so the plants can be planted well and look good from day one.

Within a module, plants should have similar temperature and light requirements. For plants with different watering needs, we recommend planting thirsty plants in the lower part of the box and those that don't tolerate wet roots in the upper part.

If you want to save yourself the hassle, you can use our plant sets : pre-selected, perfectly matched plants in the right size, of the highest quality and, of course, extensively tested in THE BOX.

How does plant watering work?

Watering the plants is very simple: The module is filled with water through the watering hole in the lid. The water level indicator shows you when the tank is full and when it is empty. The plants are then supplied with the necessary moisture via a capillary mat, without the roots being directly submerged in water – this prevents mold and root waterlogging. The capillary mat also ensures even moistening of the substrate.

Under normal indoor conditions, it is sufficient to fill THE BOX every 10-14 days. During the first few weeks after replanting, the plants in the BOX.3 should be watered directly via the drawers. Further details can be found in the respective user manual.

How are the plants in THE BOX fertilized?

Every plant needs a regular supply of nutrients to grow healthily and vigorously – this also applies to plants on the wall. To fertilize your plants in THE BOX, use liquid fertilizer , which is mixed directly into the water. Be sure to follow the recommended dosages for each fertilizer.

Important: You need to choose the right fertilizer for your substrate type. Organic fertilizer, for example, is only suitable for organic substrates, as it cannot be broken down in mineral granules and can therefore lead to mold and odor formation. Please read the fertilizer product descriptions carefully and follow the instructions. We also recommend avoiding slow-release fertilizers.

How do you deal with sick or infested plants?

If plants in your module become sick or infested with pests, it's advisable to remove them from the box as soon as possible to prevent the disease from spreading to other plants . With the BOX.3 modules, you can easily remove the corresponding drawer. With the BOX.6 modules, replacing them is a bit more complicated, as you either have to remove the module from the wall or unclip the front panel. If you have any questions, please contact us.

Please note that plants are living organisms whose development depends on many environmental factors. Even without systemic errors, plants can die as they react to various external influences.

How are the plants protected during transport?

Our partner and plant supplier has decades of experience shipping live plants and ensures that your new green roommates will survive the transport safely and undamaged thanks to good padding. Should anything go wrong during delivery, please contact us within 72 hours.

Does Urban Greenery replace dead plants?

Our plants are carefully selected, shipped healthy, and our system supports optimal growth. However, plants are living organisms whose development depends on many environmental factors. Even without systemic errors, plants can die as they react to different external influences. We recommend paying attention to their individual light and water requirements and fertilizing regularly to create the best possible conditions.

Please understand that we cannot assume any liability or guarantee for the long-term survival of the plants. If any plants arrive damaged or dead, please contact us.

I'm not satisfied with my delivery. What should I do?

Of course, this shouldn't happen, and it's truly important to us that you're satisfied. Please contact our customer service immediately. We will then work with you to find the best solution. If your delivery arrives damaged, please contact us within 72 hours so we can best assess the damage. Further information can be found in our terms and conditions and cancellation policy.
